Services
Exploring Your Pathways - Cost: $300
This service is designed to help students explore their interests and investigate possible career options and academic programs. Students in grade 10, 11, 12 and a gap year are best suited for this service. It includes two separate counselling sessions and utilizes professional career assessment tools. These sessions can be completed either virtually, in person, or a mix of both.
In our first session, we'll focus on uncovering your unique story. We’ll dive into your academic history by reviewing your transcripts and report cards, and we’ll explore your interests and extracurricular activities. At the end of this session, you will receive two professional assessments to complete at home. These assessments have full reports that provide deeper insights into your strengths and preferences, setting the stage for our next steps together.
The second session will be a more in-depth follow-up session. During this time, we’ll take a closer look at your individual reports and see how they align with your academic journey. I’ll also provide you with valuable resources to help you continue your research and discuss important topics like the research tools, application process, and scholarship opportunities. My goal is to equip you with all the knowledge and support you need to feel fully prepared and empowered for the exciting steps ahead!
At the end of these sessions, you will be provided with a full report.

Parent Testimonials
"High school has changed so much since I went to school. Each session was so informative. After going to Cheryl, I have learned about so many new programs that I will definitely be encouraging my younger children to get involved in. As well, I learned a lot about the different types of programs that aren't just offered at universities. There are some fantastic college programs where students can earn degrees. I know that I went there to help my son decide what to do after high school, but it proved to be an educational experience for me too."
"Navigating post-secondary pathways can feel overwhelming, but Cheryl made the process so much easier for our daughter. From the very beginning, she took the time to understand her interests, strengths, and goals, guiding her toward programs that truly fit her aspirations. Cheryl’s knowledge of university and college pathways, scholarships, and career opportunities was invaluable. She not only helped our daughter feel confident in her choices but also provided practical advice that made applications and decision-making far less stressful.
We are incredibly grateful for Cheryl’s patience, expertise, and unwavering support. Thanks to her, our daughter is now on a path that excites and inspires her. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping students succeed, Cheryl is the perfect person to turn to!"
" I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional guidance and support that Cheryl provided to my son. We first met when my son was in grade 11 and was very unclear about his after high-school career path. From the very beginning, Cheryl took the time to understand my son's unique strengths, interests, and academic progress, offering tailored advice that resonated deeply with him.
What truly impressed me was Cheryl’s ability to help my son gain clarity about potential career options. With expert advice on selecting courses, identifying extracurricular activities, and even exploring volunteer opportunities, Cheryl gave him the tools to make informed decisions about his future. Cheryl also helped him develop a clearer vision of his strengths and how to leverage them in his next stage in life.
Thanks to Cheryl’s guidance and continuous support my son embarked in a journey of self-discovery that included interviewing leaders in his area of interest and was able to decide that he will pursue a BBA in an University. Now in grade 12, my son has been accepted in a prestigious University that was his # 1 choice and we are beyond thrilled.
I cannot thank Cheryl enough for her dedication, expertise, caring approach, genuine concern for my son success and the lasting impact Cheryl had on my son’s confidence and career outlook at this pivotal time in his life.
Anyone who reads this testimonial is welcome to call me and I would be happy to repeat in person why I am so impressed and humbled by Cheryl's professionalism, dedication and superb ability to help others that like my son who need guidance to navigate this pivotal time in their young lives."
